On Sunday, November 14, 2021, Riyadh Valley signed a memorandum of understanding with Architecture and Planning College at King Saud University with the aim of providing training opportunities for students, which is a strategic option for it in preparing architectural and planning cadres capable of meeting the needs of architectural and urban work and keeping up with the rapid developments and changes taking place in the fields of work, and because of many benefits of training such as preparing the student and providing him with the new knowledge and skills required by the profession of architecture and planning, and to enhance cooperation between the two parties through the provision of opportunities raining for college students, holding and developing specialized vocational training courses, as well as cooperation in organizing joint events such as workshops, seminars, exhibitions and meetings related to the profession, as well as providing specialized services and consultations that meet the needs of the parties in accordance with the university regulations. The signing of the agreement took place at the college, where Riyadh Valley was represented by the CEO Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Saleh, and Prof. Abdulaziz bin Jarallah Al-Dghishim represented the College of Architecture and Planning
Prof. Al- Dghishim acclaimed the importance of such understandings, which contribute to the development, growth and expansion of the knowledge and professional behaviors of students through training opportunities and specialized courses that will be available to them in accordance with this memorandum, which enables students to learn the best solutions to problems they will face in the course of the profession of architecture and planning, which increases their ability to perform their work and help them avoid mistakes as much as possible, bringing them to the desired level that our country aspires to in the field of architecture.
Furthermore, CEO Dr. Khalid Al-Saleh explained: “The signing of the memorandum of understanding with the College of Architecture and Planning comes within the framework of achieving some of Riyadh Valley objectives of refining the expertise and practical application of university students and professors. In addition to actively contributing to the development of the knowledge economy through partnership between educational and research institutions and the business and investment community.
The memorandum of understanding is an extension of the agreements concluded by Architecture and Planning College during the past period with a number of government agencies inside and outside the university as well as some private entities, to enable their graduate students to have career opportunities both in the government and private sector, and to develop and develop their creative skills and raise their abilities and competitiveness in the labor market.
