24 October 2021 Signing a memorandum of understanding between Riyadh Valley Company and Abdul Latif Jameel General Trading Company

In conjunction with the GITEX Technology Exhibition held in Dubai from October 17 to 21, a memorandum of understanding was signed at Riyadh Valley Company’s stall with Abdul Latif Jameel Company General Trading Company; With the aim of enhancing the entrepreneurship environment by providing expansion opportunities for Saudi startups abroad and Japanese startups in the Saudi market, as well as allowing the sharing of investment and strategic opportunities between the two parties.

In signing the memorandum of understanding, Riyadh Valley Company was represented by the CEO Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Saleh. Abdul Latif Jameel General Trading Company was represented by the President and CEO of Abdul Latif Jameel Japan, Mr. Shigeki Enami. Riyadh Valley Company CEO, Dr. Khaled Al-Saleh said: “The signing of the memorandum of understanding contributes to achieving the goals of the Riyadh Valley Company to support the entrepreneurship environment through the transfer of knowledge in the fields of technology, health and life sciences at the level of bold investment and strategic investment”.

On behalf of Abdul Latif Jameel General Trading Company, the President and CEO of Abdul Latif Jameel Japan, Mr. Enami, stated: “I am very pleased to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with Riyadh Valley Company. ALJGT in Japan closely cooperate with RVC to introduce start-ups of each country (Japan and Saudi Arabia) to each other and work together to support the business development of these companies. Through this collaboration, I am pleased to be able to contribute to the goals of Saudi Japan Vision 2030”.
