Riyadh Valley Company, the investment arm of King Saud University, has concluded its Qafila journey at the university, which took place across several colleges from September 15 to November 7, 2024.
The Qafila initiative by Riyadh Valley Company is one of the efforts to enrich the entrepreneurial and innovative environment. It serves as a mobile exhibition between the university’s various colleges, enabling university members to acquire necessary skills through virtual workshops and introducing them to the activities of Riyadh Valley Company. Additionally, it allowed university members to register in the company’s key initiatives, including the KSU Passport Platform, the Angel Investors Program at King Saud University, the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program, and the Enrching Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Platform. During the Qafila‘s journey, it attracted over 12,000 visitors from King Saud University and more than 1,200 applicants registered in the qualitative initiatives of Riyadh Valley Company.
The “Riyadh Valley Company Qafila” launch stems from the partnership between Riyadh Valley Company, educational and research institutions, and the business community to achieve ongoing collaboration in supporting initiatives that enhance knowledge. This aligns with Riyadh Valley Company’s goals of preparing university students for work in the private sector through training and qualification during their academic phase.
Riyadh Valley Company is King Saud University’s investment arm in the knowledge economy and the university’s strategic projects. It is a local and international investor in early-stage and growth-phase companies that will serve the economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
