The first social innovation camp “Athar,” was held under the generous patronage of His Excellency the President of King Saud University, Prof. Badran bin Abdul Rahman Al-Omar, aims to rehabilitate and empower the faculty and students of the university whom interested in social innovation. This is an extension of Riyadh Valley Company efforts to support and develop the environment of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The camp is one of Social Innovation Unit initiative belongs to Entrepreneurship social innovation programs. It seeks to expand the university’s social commitment to projects with social impact, empower innovation leaders to construct successful initiatives, and strengthen the interaction between the university and inventive to support social entrepreneurship.
Riyadh Valley Company affirms its eagerness and continuous support for the university by providing a scientific environment, contributing to the dissemination of entrepreneurship culture, and promoting the innovation concept and community development.
