Riyadh Valley Company, the investment arm of King Saud University, is honored to be a strategic partner of the Segal Initiative, one of the the Deanship of Student Affairs initiatives represented by the Student Partnership Program at King Saud University, whose closing ceremony was held on April 29, 2024.
The Segal Initiative is one of the initiatives that aims to spread the culture of dialogue among youth and raise awareness about the difference between dialogue and debate to create a generation capable of applying dialogue appropriately and correctly, while also enhancing participants’ linguistic skills. The initiative aims to create an aware generation of the concept and mechanisms of dialogue, encourage youth to speak and improvise in front of audiences, develop linguistic skills, and instill the etiquettes and principles of dialogue. It also aims to eliminate the idea of dialogue being limited to a specific segment of society, promote the acceptance of differing opinions and perspectives.
The sponsorship of the Segal Initiative stems from the partnership between Riyadh Valley Company and the academic community, which is intended to achieve ongoing collaboration in supporting knowledge-enriching initiatives. It aligns with Riyadh Valley Company’s mission to contribute effectively to the development and preparation of university students for the private sector through training and qualification during their academic journey.
