Riyadh Valley Company, the investment arm of King Saud University, was honored to be a strategic partner of the Future of Biotechnology Seminar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organized by the Center of Excellence in Biotechnology Research at the College of Applied Medical Sciences auditorium, King Saud University, on March 5, 2024.

The Future of Biotechnology Seminar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aims to raise awareness by understanding the current and future status of biotechnology to achieve the Kingdom’s vision of owning modern technologies and using them to support knowledge-based economy. It also aims to propose models and opportunities for the development and localization of biotechnology within the Kingdom, and to identify the challenges facing this technology. This seminar seeks to enhance cooperation between governmental, academic, and private sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This seminar could provide opportunities to establish strategic partnerships and cooperation between local companies and institutions in the field of biotechnology, attract investment in biotechnology, and enhance innovation, research, and development.
